Deep Pour Skin Cleansing

By Ms. Admin | March 19, 2008

Deep cleansing your skin pours is essential to maintaining healthy youthful skin. a simple scrub with soap and water isn´t always the best way to ensure you’ve thoroughly cleaned your skin. Women with sensitive skin can find some cleansers to be harsh and cause damage. Even women with regular skin can experience bumps, redness and irritation from the use of regular soap or store-bought cleansing products. The best method to ensure best cleansing is with an all-natural cleanser that is especially formulated to be effective for all skin types.

“But I use regular soap, what’s wrong with that?”

Soaps can be acidic, which works well for cleaning dirt from under your fingernails. Your facial skin has a neutral PH, which can be a victim to the harshness of soap. Even soaps that you wash your body with can be harsh to the face. Facial skin is more fragile and needs to be treated differently. Products like Nexugen Repairing Cream Cleanser or Cediphil are excellent for daily face washing in the shower. Both are all-natural and fragrance free.

The ideal skin cleansing routine has to be gentle. Don’t scrub your face hard, and don’t use a loofa. Use a smooth cloth, and move it in gently circles around your facial area. Rinse with slightly cool water until all of the soap is completely washed away. Pad you face with a soft dry towel in preparation to immediately apply your moisturizer. I recommend Nexugen Skin Defense Complex because it offers excellent moisturizing along with several natural anti-aging ingredients.

Start your day with a gentle wash when you bath. Before bed, or when you remove your makeup, cleanse your skin again. Make-up is terrible for the skin as it clogs pours and suffocates the skin. Girls, we need to wear it, but it’s not the best for our long-term skin care. Make sure you select high quality make-up, which might alleviate the situation a bit.

Deep cleaning routines

Once or twice a week you should include a deep cleaning routine to really get the dirt from out of your pours. This can include the use of steam to open the pours and the use of an astringent. Never use rubbing alcohol as it has a dramatic drying effect that can hurt your skin over the long-term. Use a gentle foaming cleanser to clean your face and immediately apply a moisturizer to lock in the moisture.

A healthy face cleansing routine will bring excellent results. You’ll become addicted to feeling of clean healthy skin. Most importantly you’ll notice a much healthier glow and youthful appearance.
